Director of Care Coordination and Innovation (She/Her/Hers)
As WMPC’s Director of Care Coordination and Innovation, Kylene Dalton-Koons provides oversight of foster care, adoption, and other services provided by WMPC and its partner agencies and is responsible for developing innovative strategies to serve children and families. Ms. Dalton-Koons most recently worked at D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s where she served as the Director of Residential Services since August 2016 after being promoted from her position as Program Manager.
Ms. Dalton-Koons has more than twelve years’ experience in nonprofit program administration and has served in various leadership capacities in the community, to include as a member of the Grand Rapids Community College Juvenile Justice Council, as a former co-chair for the Kent County Domestic Violence Community Coordinated Response Team with now Mayor Rosalynn Bliss of Grand Rapids, and as a judicially-appointed Domestic Violence Expert for the 17th Circuit Court’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Oversight Committee.
Advancing racial equity is a priority of Ms. Dalton-Koons, and she served on D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s’ Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Ms. Dalton-Koons has a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Calvin College.
