Dr. Keenan King is the Executive Director of Kent School Services Network (KSSN). KSSN is a non-profit that currently partners with seven school districts to implement the Community School Strategy at 40+ schools across Kent County, Michigan. Dr. King has over 15 years of experience working with marginalized and underrepresented youth in West Michigan. He has worked for Western Michigan University’s college access programs MI GEAR UP and TRiO Upward Bound; mentored hundreds of K-12 students; and believes in collective impact as a strategy to address racial disparity gaps for marginalized youth. Dr. King holds a doctorate degree in educational leadership, a master’s degree in educational leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration all from Western Michigan University.
