Vice Chair (She/Her/Hers)
Laura Mitchell is the Executive Director, Child Welfare at Samaritas, providing support and oversight to Samaritas’ foster care and family preservation services throughout the state. Ms. Mitchell has worked in child welfare with Samaritas for over 30 years. Ms. Mitchell earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University and holds a Master of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University.
